Cristina Flutur (born in Iași) is a Romanian film and theatre actress. In 2012 she made a wonderful debut in cinema, portraying the complex Alina Ringhis, main character in Cristian Mungiu's praised drama, Beyond the Hills. In the year 2000, after finishing high school, mathematics and physics department, she decided to study Romanian and English languages and literature, along with American literature, at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in her hometown. Meantime, Cristina was a member of the ''Ludic Theatre'', a company of amateur theatre for students.
